Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
CapitSignal paid plans are subscriptions billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us at [PLACEHOLDER: support@capitsignal.com]. When you cancel, your plan will not renew for the next period, and your access continues until the end of the current paid period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.
3. Refunds
- Annual plans. A refund request made within 7 days of the charge will be considered. If approved, we refund the amount paid for that billing period, less any period already used at our reasonable discretion.
- Monthly plans. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing date has passed. You may cancel to prevent future renewals.
- Partial periods. We do not provide refunds for partial or unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
4. How to request a refund

5. Failed or disputed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and temporarily restrict paid features until payment succeeds. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be downgraded to the Free plan. Please keep your payment method up to date to avoid interruption.
6. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through the relevant payment processor — Razorpay for India and Stripe for other markets. Refunds typically appear within approximately 5–7 business days after they are processed, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
