Lloyds Metals approves DRI capacity expansion, two NCD issuances and ESOP share allotment

The board approved increasing DRI capacity at Ghugus to 8,15,000 MTPA and Konsari to 92,400 MTPA, taking total DRI capacity above 9,00,000 MTPA. It also approved two separate private-placement NCD issuances of up to Rs. 600 Crore and Rs. 950 Crore, subject to regulatory and statutory approvals, and allotted 1,41,969 equity shares to the ESOP Trust at Rs. 4 per share.

Raising capital changes the share count or the debt load, and the stated use of proceeds is a commitment that can later be checked.
