RAM PAL SONI Founder & Chairman Q1 FY27 revenue grew 8.1% year-on-year on healthy demand and steady execution across the business. Profitability improved on better realisations, a favourable product mix, operating leverage and disciplined cost management. Profit after tax was ₹41 crore against ₹2 crore in Q1 FY26, with EBITDA margin expanding 418 bps to 12.9%. Capacity utilisation remained high across businesses, with denim fabric at 98% and PV fabric at 97%. To serve this demand, the company is undertaking a capital expenditure plan of approximately ₹1,500 crore, to be completed by March 2029. The plan completes our integration from fibre to garment across both the cotton and synthetic value chains, including our entry into garmenting. The plan is fully funded through internal accruals and term debt, within a firm internal leverage discipline. Lower Cost, Lower Carbon Growth Capital Expenditure Plan Approx. ₹1,500 crore | To be completed by March 2029 Forward Integration into Garmenting 12 ANCHORED ON EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS Sangam has long-standing fabric relationships with leading domestic and international brands. Garmenting extends these relationships into garment supply under one roof. CAPACITY BEING BUILT • Denim garments: 10 lakh pieces/month • PV garments: 5 lakh pieces/month • Both units will be ramped up in phases, in step with customer commitments. COST POSITION With fabric produced in-house and yarn behind it, the garment units begin with an integrated cost base, positioning Sangam competitively for India’s growing domestic apparel demand. DESIGNED TO DE-RISK LABOUR Garmenting is the most labour- intensive stage of the textile chain. Both units are specified with a high degree of automation from the design stage, reducing dependence on scarce skilled labour. COMPLETION By March 2029 3 TOTAL INVESTMENT ~ Rs. 1,500 Crores Across yarn, fibre, fabric and garmenting All projects; phased commissioning from FY28 A calibrated entry into garment manufacturing — the natural next step for a company that already produces the fabric. COMPLETING TWO VALUE CHAINS COTTON CHAIN Cotton → Yarn → Denim Fabric → Denim Garments RECYCLED SYNTHETIC CHAIN Plastic Bottles / Waste → Recycled Fibre → Yarn → PV Fabric → PV Garments EARNINGS POTENTIAL ~ Rs. 300 Crores Annual EBITDA at full utilization (E) Garmenting is a new business for Sangam; capacity will be commissioned and scaled prudently, and progress will be reported as the units come on stream.
